How to Participate
ANNOUNCED 4/21/2015For this event talk to Caravan Jimmy in Dunbarton. He will ask you if you would like to enter the dungeon and if you are ready you will be immediately transported to a special location. The dungeon has 3 rooms filled with treasure chests; monsters will soon spawn. You will need to fight each monster (pets are allowed). After doing so you will have 30 seconds to choose 3 chests to open. Each chest will give you a prize. Once you have chosen 3 chests you will be teleported to the next room, then the last room once you have cleared the second.
The boxes reward you with a variety of prizes such as name/chat color change potions, waxen wings of the goddess, reforging tools, etc. In addition to these you may obtain 3 types of treasure: hidden chests, restored chests, and unrestored chests.
Hidden Chest vs. Restored Chest vs. Unrestored Chest
- Hidden chests require no key and can be opened immediately. They are brown miniature treasure boxes that take up 2 x 1 space in your inventory like Admiral Owen's boxes that you get from fishing.
- Restored chests require a complete key to open. They look like the pink gift boxes from previous Mabinogi events.
- Unrestored chests must be restored by acquiring another unrestored chest. They are pink gift boxes that have been dimmed out until you restore them. Once you restore them you will need a complete key to open.
Complete Key vs. Incomplete Key
- Complete keys are used to open restored chests. You will receive a complete key from finishing the dungeon quest.
- Incomplete keys appear in your inventory for each hour logged into game. You need 2 incomplete keys to make a complete key.
